നിൻ കളമൊഴിയായുണർന്നു മെല്ലെ.
മൃദുപല്ലവത്തിൻ കുളിരലയെന്നിൽ,
ഇളംതെന്നലായ് വന്നണഞ്ഞു.
കളിയോടവുമായ് കാത്തുനിന്നു ഞാൻ,

ഞാനുമൊരിക്കലൊരു വർണ്ണപ്പട്ടമായ്‌
വാനിലേയ്ക്കെത്താൻ കുതിച്ചുയർന്നീടവേ,
കേവലം നൂലിനാൽ ബന്ധിച്ചു നിർത്തി നീ
