ഒരു ദു:ഖസാഗര മിരമ്പുമ്പോഴും,

ഓട്ടത്തിലാണെല്ലാരും നേരമില്ലാർക്കുമിന്ന്,
ആഹാരം പോലുമിന്നു കഴിക്കാൻ നേരമില്ല.
യന്ത്രങ്ങൾ കണക്കിന്നു ചലിക്കുന്നു മാനുഷൻ,
പിന്നെയും ജീവിതത്തിൽ കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകൾമാത്രം!
