വിശ്വപ്രതീക്ഷയായ് വിരിയുന്നുനീയെന്നും,
വിഘ്നങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുവിൺമലരായ്.
തെളിയുന്നുനീയെന്നും സ്നേഹദീപമായ്,
യാത്രികരാകുമീ ദാസരിൻമേൽ.
അനുദിനമെൻ്റ ശുഭപ്രതീക്ഷയായ്,
അകതാരിൽ വന്നുനിറഞ്ഞീടണേ.

എരിക്കിന്‍ പൂവുകള്‍
ഉള്ളുരുകി കരയുന്നു
ഇരുട്ടുപുതച്ച സമാന്തരങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമീതെ
കിതച്ചു പായുന്ന മങ്ങിയ മുറികളില്‍
അപഥസഞ്ചാരികളുടെ തേര്‍വാഴ്ച

തടവറയിലെന്നേകാന്ത ദുഃഖങ്ങളിൽ,
കുളിർതെന്നലായ് നീയൊഴുകിവന്നു.
തളരുന്നകരങ്ങളിൽ ശക്തിയേകി,
താഴുകൾമെല്ലെ തുറന്നുതന്നു.
നിത്യസ്മരണയായ് തീർന്നുവെന്നിൽ നീ,
നിതാന്തമാം നിൻ സ്നേഹവായ്പിൽ.

വിടരുന്ന ശോകങ്ങൾ വിദ്യയായ്മാറ്റി,
വിവേകമെന്നിൽ വർഷിച്ചു നീ.
അണയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ നിൻ മാർഗ്ഗദീപം,

നീർക്കുമിളപോൽ പൊഴിയുമീ ജീവിതം,
തെളിനീരണിയാൻ വെമ്പിനിന്നു.
മൃദുമാനസങ്ങൾ മയങ്ങുന്നരാവിൽ,
മധുവൂറും പൂക്കൾ വിടർന്നു മന്നിൽ.
പൊലിയുന്ന ജീവൻ്റെ നൊമ്പരത്താൽ,
പകലിൻ്റെ മാറിലെൻ മിഴിനിറഞ്ഞു.
