തളിരു മറന്നൊരു
ആശക്കൊമ്പിൽ;
ഒരുപിടി കൊന്ന-
പ്പൂക്കൾ നിറച്ചു
മനമൊരു പഴകിയ

വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ തലതാഴ്ത്തി നിന്നു!

തിളച്ചുരുകുന്ന ഗ്രീഷ്മത്തിന്‍ടെ
മൂര്‍ദ്ധന്യത്തില്‍ ,മുറിയുടെ
ജാലകത്തിനരികെ
നില്‍ക്കുകയാണ് ഞാന്‍
ഏകാന്തമായ മനസ്സിന്‍ടെ
ആകാശത്ത് ഒരു തണുത്ത രാത്രിമഴ
പെയ്യാന്‍ തുടങ്ങുകയാണ്
കരിമേഘങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ മെല്ലെ
അവ്യക്തമാകുന്ന അമ്പിളിക്കല.
