ഉറങ്ങുന്നൊരീ പുലരിയിൽ

നിക്ഷലമായി നിൽക്കുന്നു
വൃക്ഷലതാതികൾ കാവലായ്
പ്രഭാതത്തിനെ ഉണർത്താതെ
സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെല്ലാം വെറുതെ,
മോഹങ്ങളും വെറുതെ
പകലുകൾ വെറുതെ,
രാവുകൾ വെറുതെ
നിഴലും, നിലാവും വെറുതെ
എല്ലാമെല്ലാം വെറുതെയെന്ന തോന്നൽ...
