ളങ്കലാപ്പിന്റെ കുമിളയായുതിരുന്നു!
വിഘ്നങ്ങളോരോന്നു വന്നുചേർന്നിങ്ങനെ,
ആരോ മുറുക്കിയ കുരുക്കിൽ പിടഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ!

വിദൂരങ്ങളിൽ ചെന്നു രാപ്പാർക്കുവാൻ,
വഴിമറന്നീടുന്ന സായന്തനങ്ങൾ.
വിണ്ണിൽ വിരിയും താരകങ്ങളിൽ,
വെളിച്ചം നിലയ്ക്കുന്ന വിസ്മയങ്ങൾ.
വഴിയറിയാതെയലയുന്നുവോയെൻ,
വിഷാദച്ചുവയുള്ള നീർമിഴികൾ.
